Understanding GED Results
GED results are measured by both standard scores (your points on
each section) and by percentile (how your point scores would compare
nationally with graduating high school seniors).
The highest possible score on any section is 800; the lowest possible
score on any section is 200.
You need a standard score of at least 410 on each sub-test, a minimum
average score of 450 and an overall score of 2,250 to pass the GED;
however, some states may require a slightly higher passing score.
Your Language Arts, Writing score is based your combined scores
from the multiple-choice and essay sections.
