GED Classes and Testing Centers
- Many test-takers need help
- Many test-takers get help through an adult education resource
center
- You can look for an adult education resource center by checking
with a library, high school, community college or literacy program
- You can look in your phone book under Schools or GED, or Continuing
Education or Adult Education
- You can look in your phone book's government blue pages for
your local government office in charge of Adult Education
- You can call the American Council for Education's GED Hot Line
at 800-62-MY-GED or 800-626-9433
- If you are in the military, you and members of your family can
take the GED at a military installation that offers DANTES; you
can find out more about DANTES by calling 850- 452-1089
- If you have a documented physical disability or learning disability,
you may be able to get information about special testing accommodation
by contacting the Learning Disabilities Association of America
at (412) 341-1515 or the HEATH Resource Center at 800-544-3284
