About The GED Exam
On the GED you will be asked to:
- Write, develop and correct an essay drawn from your own knowledge
and experience
- Respond to multiple-choice questions to show that you can communicate,
organize writing and edit effectively
- Read, understand and respond to multiple-choice questions about
literature -a story, poem or drama
- Read, understand and respond multiple-choice questions about
non-fiction - an article, opinion or business related document
- Read, understand and respond to multiple-choice questions about
reading passages concerning government, history and civics, geography
and economics
- Read, understand and respond to multiple-choice questions about
reading passages concerning technology, the environment and health,
life science and physical science
- Read, understand and respond to multiple-choice questions involving
number relations and algebra, data analysis and statistics, measurement
and geometry
